It seems he became a leader out of ego rather than being the best man for the job. You have been second in command and now have to make a decision, what do you do? This is a tricky one, here are the results to each choice. Pick the one that you think is the best option: If the leader is a danger to the group, then the group is more dangerous to be in. Leaving may be your only option Convincing the others to leave the group can create animosity amongst the group but might make the group pull together against the leader Tough it out can give you more time to find a solution Voting for a new leader, especially one that is authoritative won't happen without a fight Using reasoning only works if the other person can be reasoned with and usually means to be aggressive yourself.
Use reasoning and others to convince the leader to step up for the group or step down. The group leader and his second in command are disagreeing about which direction they want to take the group. A vote has been declared but other members of the group are siding with the leader no matter what the outcome of the vote is. Which side to you take? Determine the best course for the group and convince the others and not split up.
You're being chased by a group of zombies, half your group has fallen back and the zombies got them. You see a boat on the dock and the rest of the group is making a run for the boat. Not everyone will make to the boat, what do you do? Stay on the dock, unhook the boat and hold it there for the others to get on.
Get on the boat turn on the engine and let is sail with or without the others. You are seeking refuge on another survivors farm, one of your group members is boinking the farmers daughter. He finds a barn full of zombies and informs the group. How do you handle the situation? Talk to the farmer whos land you're on with reason to kill the zombies. Convince the group that this place is not safe and move to a new location. Forget about it, no harm from it has been done so far, it should be safe.
You and your group are trapped in a hide out in a house and surrounded by zombies. You have to fight your way out. With some pipes, hammer and shot gun shells, your group was able to fashion some type of shot gun. To operate it, one person loads a shot gun shell into the pipe and screws a pipe cap with a hole for a nail to keep the shell in the pipes.
One holds the pipe over the shoulder to aim it, and the other uses a hammer to hit the nail to ignite the primer in the shell. This is a mult-person operation where on continues to load multiple pipes, while two are operating the gun and a fourth to be a spotter picking the most vital zombies and communicating it to the shooter, and the last person would have to be a lookout for the flanking area.
Who would you be? You're in a hide out in a mall and surrounded by zombies. A few in your group are going to make a break for it to get a vehicle to transport everyone out. The plan is for two to leave and the rest provides cover fire. Weapons available is a long range hunting rifle with a scope, assault rifle, 12 gauge shotgun, 9mm pistol with a 10 round magazine.
Each weapon serves a particular purpose for the mission. The hunting rifle will be used to give long range support from a high area, while the assault rifles will clear a hole for the two to be able to slip by. The pistol is for the leading person while the shotgun will be covering the rear. What weapon would you prefer to use? Your group hears a radio message that a militarized safe zone is created and accepting new survivors.
Unsure of how old this transmission is, many in the group are hesitant to go. You are the leader, you want to go but the majority is against it. The majority is against it, majority rules so the group votes where to go.
Continue to convince the group but take whoever wants to go and split the group. During a zombie attack, your group was able to get away but during the attack you were bitten.
No one knows yet, but it's only a matter of time before you turn. Declare to the group the situation and let them make the decision of what to do. Forget it, grab some ammo and take out as many zombies as you can before you turn. Your group has been ambushed by another group who is looking to take your weapons and gear. You're surrounded and they have the strategic advanatage over your group.
Take your chances, stand and fight, you're not giving up your weapons. Give up your weapons and try to find more weapons later somewhere else.
